What I DO have is a scale that was sitting on a sock and causing the weight to not register correctly.
My weight is 279. I haven't gained..so I suppose I will be happy with that.

I've lost 2 more lbs (27 total) and I couldn't be more THRILLED. Not sure why I am continuing to lose..when I am not watching what I eat...but I'll gladly take it!!
Back to counting points tomorrow...and exercising. I borrowed Yoga Booty Ballet from the library and am excited to try it out.

Today should be good.
I got on the scale this morning----280!!!! which means by some miracle of God, I lost the 2 pounds I gained plus an additional 1!!
I don't see any reason I should stray from my diet today...aside from the 8 pies I have sitting in my freezer. (Logan had a fundraiser--they are supposed to go with me to TN for turkey day..we'll see if they all actually make it!)
Lindsay arrives today. Both boys are home so we are going to go to the airport to see her. If we don't go out to lunch I should have a good day today...if we DO go out to lunch..it'll be iffy. because I have no willpower and suck! I'm going to TRY really hard though!
Tomorrow night we are having a bon-fire at Tammy's...can't wait to eat a S'more! (Can you believe my mom has NEVER had a S'more?!?!?)

Munchies
Man...I have had the munchies ALLLLLLL day!
I had a bowl of cereal for breakfast.
Logan was home with an asthma flare so I went to Wendys to get us lunch..I had a spicy chicken and baked potato.
Then a couple hours later I had a bowl of cereal.
Then I had a couple hand fulls of lucky charms.
Then I had some sweet tarts.
Then Dylan got bit by a dog (read my other blog) and I had some p-nut m&m's and a few sips of K's coke while we were at urgent care. (I figured because the m&m's had nuts in them..it made them more nutritious. LOL)
Then, since we had no dinner, I had a whopper and fries at almost midnight!!!!
Yeah, it was a really good food choice day for me!

Not giving up!
OK, I haven't been checking in...and I'm sorry! I'm at the point in preschool where things get CRAZY, and I'm not doing much else, lol. That's not a *good* excuse, but that's where I've been!

Road trip!
My best friend from High School moved to Indiana a few weeks ago. Her birthday is Nov 11..so we usually try to get together for our b-days. So, after I drop the kids at school I am driving half-way (1 1/2) hours to meet her. We'll eat lunch and visit for a couple hours and then I will leave in enough time to pick up the kids from school. I'm already planning to stop at Starbucks before I get on the road. Not sure what my eating will be like since I'm not sure where we will eat....and not sure how yummy the food will look. LOL

Not perfect
OK, I'm back to posting again. Not sure what THAT was all about, but last week was just sort of a write-off. I'm actually OK with that, too, lol!
Anyway, I was supposed to be "back in the saddle" today. And I kind of was...but then again, I had too many rice krispie treats, and a few pieces of Halloween candy...I guess not.
My period is kicking my ass (hopefully this is the last terrible one for a LONG time), and I just feel like eating comfort food.
I'm gonna try again tomorrow! Back on the wagon!

Off Track
So..since neither of us has posted in a couple days...I assume we are both kinda sucking at this diet thing? Or are you being good...just busy?
I think I did ok yesterday...aside from the halloween candy I ate when I went to bed. I didn't count points...but I think it might have been an ok day. *sigh*. I've lost my drive or something. I think it has something to do with knowing my birthday is this weekend. Like...once I get through this weekend I will get back on track so I am letting the whole week go to pot.
My plan is to go to water aerobics tomorrow morning...I didn't sign up for a class this session...but they have open aerobics on friday mornings...so I'd like to at least go to those.

I just want to be thin
I want to be one of those people who have a thin body, and can eat what they want. Is that too much to ask? Yes, I thought as much. I suppose if I was like that, then I'd have to give up my winning personality or something.
I had a really weird "mental-day" today, and struggled a lot with food choices.
We camped this weekend, and was up 2 lbs. this morning. With Halloween (and three parties (2 for school, one with friends)) this week, I just sort of figured that this week was a bust, and I'd kind of have a "free" week. Not FREE like "eat whatever the hell you want," but "free" like...not counting points, and just taking what I get kind of week.
So I had to run an errand after school today, and called P to tell him. I mentioned that I was going to run through McD's on my way. He (very nicely...not judgmentally) said "Why don't you get something better for you than McD's? That has a lot of fat in it, that you probably don't want...."
He was totally right...but I got upset by the change in plans. (Isn't that stupid?) I wasn't even mad at him, but I realized that I was PLANNING to eat bad today just because the rest of the week is going to be "difficult." Today had nothing going on that would effect my eating, or was a social event like a party...yet I was OK with choosing to make bad decisions.
This is just hard, and it sucks. I hate all the mental hoops (to jump through) that exist. Sometimes I just want to eat junk because I know how. Eating healthy takes a lot of thought, and sometimes I just don't wanna!

Kyle has been home from work the last 3 days with a horrible cold and a major rash all over his body. Guess what?!? It's fun to eat during the day with a sick husband! I drop the kids at school and run through the drive through to pick us up breakfast. Yesterday (the one day I didn't bring home b-fast) we were at the dr and then the pharmacy...and we were hungry..so we ran through the drive through for lunch.Last night, the kids wanted KFC for dinner--sounded good to me..so we had that. Monday night, we had no groceries..so more take out. Today..I was out running around with mom and we stopped for lunch. It's been days and days and days of fast food and restaurant food.
This weekend, Chelsea is coming in town from TX ...I am meeting them for lunch at Bravo on Friday afternoon. Saturday, we are having a party to celebrate Tony's b-day (oct 25), her b-day (Nov 1) and my b-day (Nov 3)--so there will be Pizza and cake then.
If I would get off my ass and exercise--I would feel less bad about my un-healthy eating.I just can't seem to get (back) in the right frame of mind.
Kyle goes back to work tomorrow...and we have groceries. I think tomorrow will be a good day. I'll try really hard to keep within my points...even with the special stuff this weekend.

Junk Food Jones
I'm seriously jonesing for some junk. Everywhere I turn there is Halloween candy, and yummy Fall desserts like pumpkin pie, etc. I know I can have these things...but I hate to give up my points for them. Even if I count the points, I kind of feel like I'm "cheating" when I eat them. I'm so annoyed! I went to the grocery this morning to get some yummy flavored coffee to eat with the rest of my choc/pumpkin muffins. (trying to re-live the yumminess from Starbucks yesterday) So, I go in and make the coffee and open the container I had the muffins in and they were all MOLDY! UGH! In so much pain, Tuesday - C
I am having some pretty major girlie troubles today, and I am hurting so bad. Literally, my belly is sore to the touch, and I feel like things that are supposed to be walnut-sized must be about softball-sized right now. I'm feeling absolutely certain that I've made the right choice about surgery next month. I can't do THIS any more.

Gah...Monday, too! LOL
So, P had a medical test today, and I had to make three round trips to the hospital between 8 and 4. I woke up seriously feeling like I was going to puke, and then later had Big D. Turns out my period had shown up.
Suffice it to say, I ate what sounded good today, and none of it so far has been healthy.

I had some Cape Cod chips this afternoon, and a handful of Bugles w/Shannon.
I do SO badly on the weekends...I'm actually considering just doing a cheat MEAL (not day) next weekend, because I seem to always lose my footing.

So yeah...me too!
heh. I am totally having an unplanned cheat day....and there ain't nothin' lite about it!
It all started because I had Cracker Barrel yesterday without Kyle...so he was having a hankering for some CB breakfast. So..I couldn't deny my man and off we went. Their Sunday special is the BEST fried chicken..and I could not conjure up enough will power to NOT get it. so..I did. and fries. and cole slaw. yeah.
Then we went bowling and to the park....and then to Friendly's for Ice cream. Where I proceded to eat a triple scoop brownie sundae with choc Ice cream and peanut butter sauce. yeah.
so....diet today??...mmm..not so much! who sucks?!? ME! I do!! :-)

I forgot to weigh in this morning and then went and ate at Cracker Barrell this afternoon and am really full--no way am I weighing now. I weighed at moms yesterday and was 286. So, I'll just use that.

Still at it, Wednesday!
So far, so good! I think that part of the reason I was having trouble "committing" again was that I was pissed about my weight. After my birthday festivities, the scale was showing that I was up FIVE pounds. And the next week, I was still up FOUR pounds. PISSER! Needless to say, it really wasn't making me feel like eating right. (I know that makes NO sense, but in my dumb head, it was reasonable, lol!)
Anyway...I finally just listened to you, T...and started doing the right things again. As of this morning, I'm only up .4 lbs from my 198. So, phew! I can be so dense sometimes!

I weighed on Friday again since we were going out to dinner that night. I was down 1/2 pound. I don't really "count" the point losses..I just go by the whole number..so in Tricia World, I stayed the same. I'm ok with that considering the monday night chinese food and 2 glasses of wine I had...and I didn;t exercise ONE time..and I was sick. this week will be better..I'm sure of it!

Awful Day Monday
I don't want to go into detail about what made my day so awful....just know that it had to do with an appointment and a RUDE RUDE awful mean woman! I was so nervous and upset when it was over that my eye was twitching! I came home and bitched to my mom and Kyle and cried and then went and got chinese take out and a bottle of wine. The food was delicious and the wine relaxed me..and I am feeling better now. However my diet went to hell...but oh well. I really needed a little food therapy...and yes! I know that is what has gotten me to my overweight self..but dammit..it DOES help! LOL

I had a great day yesterday. OK, let's be honest...I had a great day Friday too, lol! It's not so much what I ate, but what didn't I eat? LOL!
Friday night, after all that eating at preschool and being taken out to lunch by friends, I had a big brownie (the ones that were a gift), and then we went to Red Lobster for dinner.
Yesterday, P and S made cinnamon rolls for breakfast. As part of my gifts from family members, I got stuff that I love from California...Mother's cookies and See's candy. So, I had some of each of those. For "lunch" I had two leftover cheddar biscuits from Red Lobster. During the afternoon we had BIRTHDAY CAKE! Yum! Then, I realized I'd basically no protein, so I had some cheese (and french bread). (I swear...it's no wonder I'm overweight...my cravings are always carbs and cheese.) So then! We dropped Shan off at her sleepover, and went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. We'd never been there, and it was DELISH. We had salad, and bread, and then I had fish & chips for dinner. We shared a piece of Lemon Raspberry cheese cake for dessert. After we got home and settled in bed, we each had one last piece of b-day cake. OMG...typing all that out is pretty awful, lol...but it was a lot of fun. We had a really nice day.
So this morning I get up and weigh...and uh...the scale said 203. That's FIVE pounds up. Yikes! I'm not going to sweat it, because dammit, it was my birthday! But I definitely have my work cut out for me this week!

Um...Houston, we have a problem, lol! I had another cheat day. I didn't plan to, and I know that's a bad thing. A lot of things didn't go the way I thought they would today, lol!
We went to WalMart this afternoon to buy food for Tiki and Azure, and ended up at a car lot and bought a Jeep Commander. (LONG story.) Anyway...we had to take it out for a celebratory drive, and ate lunch/dinner out. Then we had cake when we got home, etc.
I promise...I am ON THE WAGON tomorrow!!!

Saturday Cheat Day

I'm annoyed.. my scale showed 294 my moms showed 293. I really WANT to use the 293..but that doesn't really make sense, huh? so..I'll take the 294 and say I am down 3 pounds for a total of 10 pounds lost!
Can I just say, that I am annoyed (again HA!) That you have lost 11 pounds in 3 weeks and I've lost 10 in FOUR..plus I weigh 100 pounds MORE than you...I should be losing just a tinge faster than you and it's really tanning my hide! *cough* bitch *cough* ;) ;)
However..I can't believe what a difference losing 10 pounds has made in how I feel. Can't wait to see what 10 more feels like!!

Losing some weight is inspiring me to start taking care of myself again. This whole year, I've been totally dedicated to taking care of P, and of course, Shannon. I caught a good look of myself in the mirror the other day, and it wasn't good.
I went today and got my brows done, and an actual, real-deal haircut. Like, with an appointment and everything! I love my hair! Yay!
I'm so happy to already be losing some weight...and can't wait to be able to see some differences.

First of all...Zaxby's...YUM! They have THE BEST chicken fingers in the world. Patrick and Shannon love the "Zax Sauce" for dipping too, but I think it's kinda yucky. It's like ranch with a little hot sauce in it. Anyway, I just get ranch for dipping. Patrick says their wings are good, too. But what I love are their salads! They are bomb-diggity! I get the "House Salad, grilled, with bleu cheese." It's huge, and delicious. It comes with texas toast...but I'm not eating that any more, because it adds even MORE points...and at 16 points...it's plenty, lol! But yeah...go try it! We love Zaxby's!

ZERO
Today was a NO willpower kind of day. Today was my first day not having to work for diapers. It was also the first day both of my kids were at school and I had "NOTHING" to do--or nothing that I HAD to do, you know??! So, I went with my mom to run errands and we went to lunch. I had a tuna melt, onion rings, and dessert!!! NO WILLPOWER!!
Then, we went and bought K a new (to him) truck for work. We didn't get home until 9--then kids in shower and bed and fast food for K and I for dinner. At that point...I figured what the hell and had a spicky chicken sandwich from Wendys, fries and a freaking coke.
HOWEVER...I DID go and sign up for water aerobics and Zumba tonight. It starts next Monday. I will be exercising at least 4 times a week!! I'm really excited!!
I didn't get to the grocery today and I MUST go tomorrow. It's very easy to give in to temptation when I am not being "fulfilled" at home, you know??

Frustrated too!
I'm not giving up, because dammit! I want to be thin. I want to wear cute clothes! I want to not be embarrassed by my body!
But this sucks. I have not cheated one time this week. I have not gone over my points. I have drunk my water EVERY day.
And as of this morning, I was up two pounds. Fucker.
That said, my period is like...a week late, and I have no idea why. I'm like 99.99999% sure I'm not pregnant, lol...so I'm just all bloaty and fat feeling, and the weight is just NOT moving.
Can my period please just come, so all this extra water weight will "whoosh" away?
We actually ordered a pizza tonight, because I'm in a foul mood (about other stuff) and I'm not down any weight anyway. Bah.
Anyway, here's what I've eaten today:
Breakfast:
Muffin bar 2 pts.
Lunch:
6 Nuggets: 7 pts.
Snack:
Chips: 3 pts.
Dinner:
2 pieces pizza: 20 pts. (gasp)
Dessert: (I'm screwed now!)
Homemade pull-apart bread...I have NO clue.

I really need to make prepping/planning my food a bigger priority, although...not this week. Tomorrow is another long work day for me, and then P has his test Friday morning, and I'm going to the hospital directly from preschool, so I'm not sure when I'll get home Friday afternoon.

Late Tuesday Food Post
Woooowie! it was a long day! My jobs were fine, but I started feeling really bad around lunch time, and still had half a work day to go. So by 6pm, I was nearly dead, lol. I came home from work, took medicine, and basically let P & S wait on me hand and foot. Ugh.
Anyway...here's what I ate today. I'm a little mad about the piece of cake, lol...but I really can't be because it was bought to "celebrate all the September birthdays (of which one is mine!) at work"...so yeah. I had to have some.

Labor Day
UGH..this weekend has just been a bad one in the way of food and dieting. Today we are going to a cookout and I already know I am going to eat what I want..plus dessert. LOL I haven't weighed yet because I'm scared. I know it's going to show more than my 295.5 it showed on Saturday. I can't decide if I should weigh today and just deal with whatever it shows. OR take Saturdays weight and make that my weigh in for the week...really..I'd rather have a saturday weigh in date anyway.... that way I could make Saturday night my "cheat meal" night.
