Awful Day Monday

I don't want to go into detail about what made my day so awful....just know that it had to do with an appointment and a RUDE RUDE awful mean woman! I was so nervous and upset when it was over that my eye was twitching! I came home and bitched to my mom and Kyle and cried and then went and got chinese take out and a bottle of wine. The food was delicious and the wine relaxed me..and I am feeling better now. However my diet went to hell...but oh well. I really needed a little food therapy...and yes! I know that is what has gotten me to my overweight self..but dammit..it DOES help! LOL

Back on track! Sunday - C

I had a great day yesterday. OK, let's be honest...I had a great day Friday too, lol! It's not so much what I ate, but what didn't I eat? LOL!

Friday night, after all that eating at preschool and being taken out to lunch by friends, I had a big brownie (the ones that were a gift), and then we went to Red Lobster for dinner.

Yesterday, P and S made cinnamon rolls for breakfast. As part of my gifts from family members, I got stuff that I love from California...Mother's cookies and See's candy. So, I had some of each of those. For "lunch" I had two leftover cheddar biscuits from Red Lobster. During the afternoon we had BIRTHDAY CAKE! Yum! Then, I realized I'd basically no protein, so I had some cheese (and french bread). (I swear...it's no wonder I'm overweight...my cravings are always carbs and cheese.) So then! We dropped Shan off at her sleepover, and went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. We'd never been there, and it was DELISH. We had salad, and bread, and then I had fish & chips for dinner. We shared a piece of Lemon Raspberry cheese cake for dessert. After we got home and settled in bed, we each had one last piece of b-day cake. OMG...typing all that out is pretty awful, lol...but it was a lot of fun. We had a really nice day.

So this morning I get up and weigh...and uh...the scale said 203. That's FIVE pounds up. Yikes! I'm not going to sweat it, because dammit, it was my birthday! But I definitely have my work cut out for me this week!

Um...Houston, we have a problem, lol! I had another cheat day. I didn't plan to, and I know that's a bad thing. A lot of things didn't go the way I thought they would today, lol!

We went to WalMart this afternoon to buy food for Tiki and Azure, and ended up at a car lot and bought a Jeep Commander. (LONG story.) Anyway...we had to take it out for a celebratory drive, and ate lunch/dinner out. Then we had cake when we got home, etc.

I promise...I am ON THE WAGON tomorrow!!!

Birthdays only come once a year, and I refuse to "be good" on my diet and not enjoy my birthday, or ruin my friends' surprises!

It's not celebrating birthdays that makes you fat!

So! I weighed in at 198 yesterday morning. Weekly loss: 1 lb. Total lost: 12 lbs.

I'm planning to have a cheat day tomorrow. Back on the wagon Sunday!

Saturday Cheat Day

My theory is "go big or go home" so I once again did my cheat day quite large! LOL I did make a change this week though. I only drank water, diet pop, or tea sweetened with sweet n low. --last week I had a few glasses of real coke.

I'm annoyed.. my scale showed 294 my moms showed 293. I really WANT to use the 293..but that doesn't really make sense, huh? so..I'll take the 294 and say I am down 3 pounds for a total of 10 pounds lost!

Can I just say, that I am annoyed (again HA!) That you have lost 11 pounds in 3 weeks and I've lost 10 in FOUR..plus I weigh 100 pounds MORE than you...I should be losing just a tinge faster than you and it's really tanning my hide! *cough* bitch *cough* ;) ;)

However..I can't believe what a difference losing 10 pounds has made in how I feel. Can't wait to see what 10 more feels like!!

Losing some weight is inspiring me to start taking care of myself again. This whole year, I've been totally dedicated to taking care of P, and of course, Shannon. I caught a good look of myself in the mirror the other day, and it wasn't good.

I went today and got my brows done, and an actual, real-deal haircut. Like, with an appointment and everything! I love my hair! Yay!

I'm so happy to already be losing some weight...and can't wait to be able to see some differences.

First of all...Zaxby's...YUM! They have THE BEST chicken fingers in the world. Patrick and Shannon love the "Zax Sauce" for dipping too, but I think it's kinda yucky. It's like ranch with a little hot sauce in it. Anyway, I just get ranch for dipping. Patrick says their wings are good, too. But what I love are their salads! They are bomb-diggity! I get the "House Salad, grilled, with bleu cheese." It's huge, and delicious. It comes with texas toast...but I'm not eating that any more, because it adds even MORE points...and at 16 points...it's plenty, lol! But yeah...go try it! We love Zaxby's!

ZERO

Today was a NO willpower kind of day. Today was my first day not having to work for diapers. It was also the first day both of my kids were at school and I had "NOTHING" to do--or nothing that I HAD to do, you know??! So, I went with my mom to run errands and we went to lunch. I had a tuna melt, onion rings, and dessert!!! NO WILLPOWER!!

Then, we went and bought K a new (to him) truck for work. We didn't get home until 9--then kids in shower and bed and fast food for K and I for dinner. At that point...I figured what the hell and had a spicky chicken sandwich from Wendys, fries and a freaking coke.

HOWEVER...I DID go and sign up for water aerobics and Zumba tonight. It starts next Monday. I will be exercising at least 4 times a week!! I'm really excited!!

I didn't get to the grocery today and I MUST go tomorrow. It's very easy to give in to temptation when I am not being "fulfilled" at home, you know??

Don't be too disappointed in me!!

Frustrated too!

I'm not giving up, because dammit! I want to be thin. I want to wear cute clothes! I want to not be embarrassed by my body!

But this sucks. I have not cheated one time this week. I have not gone over my points. I have drunk my water EVERY day.

And as of this morning, I was up two pounds. Fucker.

That said, my period is like...a week late, and I have no idea why. I'm like 99.99999% sure I'm not pregnant, lol...so I'm just all bloaty and fat feeling, and the weight is just NOT moving.

Can my period please just come, so all this extra water weight will "whoosh" away?

We actually ordered a pizza tonight, because I'm in a foul mood (about other stuff) and I'm not down any weight anyway. Bah.

Anyway, here's what I've eaten today:

Breakfast:

Snack:

2 pieces pizza: 20 pts. (gasp)

Frustrated Friday

Alright...I hate the scale and I hate dieting and my excitement is officially gone. This sucks. and the only thing that is keeping me sane right now is the thought of my cheat meal tomorrow night. Because you KNOW I need one...what with the great loss this week and all!! ARGH!

I think I'm in a rut of foods to eat...although maybe it's just that I hate prepping food, and I always feel too busy to prep something good and healthy. I really need to make prepping/planning my food a bigger priority, although...not this week. Tomorrow is another long work day for me, and then P has his test Friday morning, and I'm going to the hospital directly from preschool, so I'm not sure when I'll get home Friday afternoon.

Woooowie! it was a long day! My jobs were fine, but I started feeling really bad around lunch time, and still had half a work day to go. So by 6pm, I was nearly dead, lol. I came home from work, took medicine, and basically let P & S wait on me hand and foot. Ugh.

Anyway...here's what I ate today. I'm a little mad about the piece of cake, lol...but I really can't be because it was bought to "celebrate all the September birthdays (of which one is mine!) at work"...so yeah. I had to have some.

Labor Day

UGH..this weekend has just been a bad one in the way of food and dieting. Today we are going to a cookout and I already know I am going to eat what I want..plus dessert. LOL I haven't weighed yet because I'm scared. I know it's going to show more than my 295.5 it showed on Saturday. I can't decide if I should weigh today and just deal with whatever it shows. OR take Saturdays weight and make that my weigh in for the week...really..I'd rather have a saturday weigh in date anyway.... that way I could make Saturday night my "cheat meal" night.

We took the kids to the county fair! You know what that means!! FAIR FOOD!!! I did ok. the worst thing I ate is fried pickles. LOL I did NOT eat the funnel cake, fried oreos, fried snickers, or fried twinkie I wanted to eat!~ so..go me! HA!

So, I'm still not feeling very well.... And then, Patrick woke me up saying he'd gone and gotten donuts. LOL! I had two. I don't exactly know the points of them, but I know that Krispy Kreme donuts are 5 pts. each. I'll count these as 6 each because they were a bit denser than KK's.

Edit: OK, I figured that since I had donuts earlier, I might as well eat my junkfood for the week, and have some ice cream too, lol! I didn't figure out how much I had, or how many points it was. Probably a lot. 3 scoops...but it was good!

OK, I weighed today instead of tomorrow this week...because Patrick brought home donuts and I wanted to eat a couple. LOL! But holy cow! The scale said 203! That means I lost 6 lbs!

So, remember yesterday when I wrote my "feeling discouraged" entry?!? and then I said I weighed and I was to 298.5 so I was down a pound and that felt better?? Remember??

I weighed this morning...and I shit you not...295.5!!!! I could hardly believe my eyes. seriously, I kept moving around because I thought there was a glare on the screen making me see the wrong #!!! LOL
